Trigonometry
Students need the best teacher, so you need examples,
because examples are the best teacher. All the
examples here are fully worked, and help run math
easier and fast enough.
And this book is about a math tool called trigonometry.
Why trigonometry though?
That’s primarily because we often get to work with
angles not only doing geometry but doing algebra, too.
Doing school math, we can hardly avoid and stay away from algebra. And
doing geometry, too, we often get to
do algebra on expressions with angles. And doing such
algebra, we do trig algebra.
Also, we need to do trigonometry working with vectors
and many others that have to do with angles. Working
with such, we often need to find components with
angles. Finding such components, we use tools in
trigonometry. And the tools are called trigonometric
ratios, often called trig ratios for short.
So doing trigonometry, we get to use trig ratios called
sines, cosines, etc., together with a bit bigger tools
called trig identities, rules, or formulas. So in this book,
you get to know what those tools are and what they are
about. So you will get to know how those tools work,
what you can do with them, and how to work with
them.
Thus, you will get to learn, for instance, how the trig
ratio called the sine is made, what it is about, and how
to use it. And you will see why you have to multiply by
the ratio as the sine, the cosine, or the tangent, and will
see what you get multiplying by it.
And of course, you will get to learn those important
tools called trig identities and trig formulas such as the
Sine Rule and the Cosine Rule. Besides, you will get to
see and be familiar with special tools called trig
functions.
You will get them all through examples, so those tools
will get explained with examples fully worked and
detailed. Also, following steps to the solution in each
example, you will be more familiar with the tools and
the the concepts.
And you will get to strengthen your algebra. So doing
problems, as well as learning math concepts, you can
do better and faster so that your math can run not only
properly but fast enough, too.
You should not just follow steps in the books or
example sets. After your understanding, you should
solve all examples by yourself without looking at the
steps. If only you do it yourself, it’s all yours.
And doing it, put your steps in your writing without
looking at the steps in the solution pages. Also, use a
pen, not a pencil. Making an error, just cross that out
with a single strike only, put the correction next to it,
and move on so that you can check what you have
done. Using erasers, you cannot see what you have
done. We learn a lot from mistakes. And that’s not it.
You can find and get a lot of examples, practice
sets, on this website: www.runmath.com. Thus, you
may want to go to the web page for the book samples
and practice examples, and get them downloaded
and do them all.
The book is available at Amazon. (The key words:

a pdf reader, your
reading the sample is much easier.

May your math run very well.
