Students need the best teacher, so you need
examples, because examples are the best
teacher. All the examples here are fully worked,
and help run your math easier and fast enough.
And this book is about non-integers, so it covers
rational and irrational numbers, helps understand
what those are and how they work, and explaions
how they mingle with arithmetic operations so
that you can not only use them properly but can
develop your own idea to make use of them, too,
solving problems, of course.
So it doesn’t just cover, how to do arithmetic
with rational or irrational numbers, so it doesn’t
merely explain how to apply to those numbers
additions, subtractions, multiplications, and
divisions. But it helps understand also, the nature
of those non-integers.
This book thus, covers the concepts of those
numbers, and helps understand them, so you can
use them efficiently, as well as properly. And it
can help speed up your calculation, too.
You should not just follow steps in the books or
example sets. After your understanding, you should
solve all examples by yourself without looking at the
steps. If only you do it yourself, it’s all yours.
And doing it, put your steps in your writing without
looking at the steps in the solution pages. Also, use a
pen, not a pencil. Making an error, just cross that out
with a single strike only, put the correction next to it,
and move on so that you can check what you have
done. Using erasers, you cannot see what you have
done. We learn a lot from mistakes. And that’s not it.
